I agree – it’s ultimately more profitable to sell your domains to retail buyers (end-users), as opposed to wholesale (domainers). Retail buyers are also typically the ‘natural’ owners of such properties.

Another idea: Let the end-users come to your domains. End-users typically search for domains at Registrars. So list your premium domains via an Instant Transfer enabled Registrar to be distributed across a channel like the Domain Distribution Network (DDN) or Afternic’s Domain Listing Service (DLS).
